Child Language Development and Disorders Lab

The child Language Development and Disorders Lab located in Department of Speech Therapy of School of Rehabilitation and was established in 2014. The mission of this lab is to foster research in three main domain:1)language development in typically developing monolingual children,2)relation between language and literacy development and 3)language development in children with phonological disorder, Atutism Spectrum  Disorder, specific language impairment, hearing impairment, Down Syndrome and Dyslexia. The aim of the lab is determining best practices for assessment and treatment of language disorders in preschool and school –age children.

Defined projects:

1.The effect of modified core vocabulary treatment on correctness and consistency of speech errors in children with inconsistent speech disorders.

2. Comparison of story grammar model in normal developing children and children with specific language impairment.
